Double Degree: The length of the Double Degree exchange is stated in the Agreement signed between both HEI. Normally double degree students period of their exchange program is 7º; 8º; 9º and 10º semesters or 8º; 9º and 10º semesters. The registration must be made in only one Engineering Specialization among the 17 offered by Poli. Double Degree Students are considered regular students therefore they can do an Internship in a Company since this subject appears in the Curriculum/Syllabus of the students regularly registered in Poli. The proper application form to be filled is Double Degree the Learning Agreement is not need.

 

poli-io-programs-02Non-Degree: The nominal format of this exchange program is two semesters of coursework (one academic year) or one semester of coursework. Non-Degree Students are considered special students. Thus they are allowed to participate in internships program only in the Laboratories of Poli, but they will NOT be allowed to participate in a corporative internship program. The proper application form to be filled is Non-Degree Exchange plus the proper Learning Agreement. poli-io-programs-03Final Thesis Project: For students enrolled at home university in the 4° or 5° year who wish to prepare their Final Thesis Project. The nominal format of this exchange program is one semester 6 months (some courses the student must do two semesters) under supervision doing research at Poli laboratories or engaged in a Project. In the application form students must choose only one engineering specialization. Incoming students are not allowed to do the Thesis in more than one specialization. The registration must be made in the discipline “Trabalho de Formatura I or II” or “Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso”. poli-io-programs-04Short Duration Exchange Program: For students enrolled at home university in the 4° or 5° year that are looking for an academic experience abroad. The nominal format of this exchange program is 4 months under supervision doing research at Poli laboratories or engaged in a Project. To choose the field of research/study, please have a look at www.poli.usp.br/a-poli/departamentos. In the application form students must choose only one engineering specialization. The proper application form to be filled is Short Duration plus the proper Learning Agreement. The registration must be made in discipline Research Training in Engineering Laboratory.
