O projeto foi financiado pelo Minist\u00e9rio de Ci\u00eancia, Tecnologia e Inova\u00e7\u00f5es do Governo Federal, sob a \u00e9gide da Lei de Inform\u00e1tica. Esses CIs compartilham uma fun\u00e7\u00e3o comum e s\u00e3o fundamentais para o desempenho de dispositivos eletr\u00f4nicos, como os encontrados na IoT. \u201cUm chiplet, por sua vez, \u00e9 um conceito mais recente na microeletr\u00f4nica, referindo-se a um conjunto modularizado de blocos de circuitos integrados que podem ser reutilizados e combinados com outros chiplets para formar um sistema eletr\u00f4nico mais complexo\u201d, acrescenta Zuffo. Este aspecto \u00e9 especialmente not\u00e1vel, pois o design open-source do RISC-V estimula uma colabora\u00e7\u00e3o global, permitindo que pesquisadores e desenvolvedores contribuam e aprimorem continuamente sua arquitetura, promovendo assim a inova\u00e7\u00e3o aberta, a adaptabilidade e a interoperabilidade.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de promover uma gest\u00e3o de energia eficiente, este conjunto foi projetado de forma modular, permitindo que estes circuitos integrados sejam arranjados em estruturas eletr\u00f4nicas mais complexas chamadas de chiplets.
